An Instagram photo booth pairs a standard photo booth (camera, lighting, printer) with a life-size foamboard cutout designed to look like an actual Instagram post. The frame carries your campaign's username, caption, hashtags and brand artwork. Guests pose with the frame; the photo gets captured by the booth. It's popular for hashtag campaigns, NGO awareness events and brand activations because the frame design itself drives social media amplification.
What's customisable on the Instagram frame?
Everything visible on the frame. Username and profile picture, caption text, hashtag set (typically 3–6 hashtags), likes count number, brand mascots and illustrations, campaign artwork around the edges. Our in-house designers handle the full layout — not just template-plus-logo. Two free design revision rounds included.
How big is the frame?
Our standard frame is 120cm × 150cm — large enough to fit 4–6 people comfortably behind it for group photos. Oversized variants (200cm × 250cm for very large groups) and smaller handheld variants (60cm × 80cm) are available as add-ons.
How long does the frame design process take?
Standard lead time is 10 days from final brief sign-off to delivery. The design phase includes initial concept, 2 revision rounds, and final fabrication. Rush turnaround (5 days) is available at additional cost. Bookings inside 5 days have limited customisation options.
Can you design multiple frame variants for one event?
Yes — for larger campaigns with multiple narrative moments, we can design 2–3 frame variants (different captions, different hashtag emphasis, different mascot poses). Useful for multi-phase events like full-day open houses or multi-day exhibitions.
Does the photo booth still take regular printed photos?
Yes. The Instagram booth uses the same Instant Photo Booth setup for capture — full-frame DSLR, studio lighting, 8-second prints. Guests get printed photos to take home, plus the digital copies via QR. The Instagram frame is what they pose with; the standard photo booth captures the moment.
Is this booth good for NGO and charity events?
Yes — this is the booth's strongest use case. NGO and CSR budgets typically can't support fully custom booth builds, but the Instagram Photo Booth is the cost-effective tier with significant brand visibility. We've delivered for Red Cross Youth Singapore and similar institutional clients.
Can guests use the frame for their own phone photos?
Absolutely — and this is the activation's secret weapon. Guests often take their own phone photos of friends posing with the frame, then post on their personal Instagram with your campaign hashtags. That's organic social reach the campaign doesn't pay for. The frame is designed to encourage this.
Does the frame work outdoors?
For short outdoor use (under 2 hours, sheltered from direct sun) it works fine. For full-day outdoor deployment, foamboard can degrade in Singapore humidity. We'd recommend covered outdoor venues for longer outdoor events, or rigid alternative materials for hard outdoor use cases.
